Hand Written Cookbooks

This is only one of my cookbooks but it is the oldest so far. They are
becoming scarce and out of my price range - cheap of course! =) 



This is the title page - the date is 1874. This is beautiful calligraphy as
well. I was impressed - since I have been trying to learn it for quite some
time. 


This is one of the pages. It is quite readable but not as early as the front
page. I think these recipes were added later. 



This is the front cover of the book. 

A recent acquisition is this handwritten cookbook.  Again got it on eBay but didn't expect to.  It looks to be written in at least 4 different hands maybe 5 and probably spans from the 1930s to the early 1960s by the recipes contained.
